Margao: Two women, pretending to buy a mangalsutra, robbed Ulhas Jewellar shop at Margao.
As per the police complaint, on at about 5.30 pm, two female persons wearing mask entered Ulhas Jewellers on March 15.
“They requested the sales representatives that they want to buy a Mangalsutra from the shop.”
At the request of the said ladies, the sale representative showed to the said accused customers various designs of Mangalsutra.
During this process, the two accused ladies stole one of the Mangalsutra and walked out of the shop premises. The value of the stolen Mangalsutra is Rs. 1,60,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Sixty Thousand Only).
Ulhas Jewellars have released the photograph of both the ladies who have committed theft.
