Margao: Margao Police have arrested two persons for stealing mobiles from the temporary tin shed erected for the construction work on the Ring Road, near Konkan Railway Station.
Police have arrested two accused namely (1) Holybadshah Mulla S/o Ali Misbah, aged – 37 years R/o Dabolim – South Goa and (2) Aslam Kalaigar S/o Chandsab, aged – 26 years R/o Vasco Goa from Margao and Dharwad, respectively and two mobile phones have been recovered, W/Rs. 29,000/-
An FIR No. 79 / 2022 U/s 380 r/w 34 of IPC was registered at Margao Town Police Station on 27th May, 2022 upon the complaint of Shri. Satish Narvekar, Contractor carrying out work of GSIDC, for theft of two mobile phones W/Rs. 29,000/- on 27th May, 2022 at about 03.30 hrs. from the Temporary Tin Shed erected for the construction work on the Ring Road, Rear side of the Konkan Railway Station, Margao.
Investigation of the case was carried out by PSI Vishwajit Dhavalikar, PSI Sagar Dhatkar, ASI Dilkush Velip, HC-5725, Goraknath Gawas, HC-4298, N. Shamir, PC-7101, Vishal Prabhu, HC-Driver – Prasad Borkar, under the supervision of Police Inspector, Sachin S. Narvekar of Margao Town P.S and SDPO, Margao Shri. Shivendu Bhusan.
