Panaji: Goa Police on Friday registered case against two foreigner inmates from Nigeria and Ghana respectively for assaulting a matron of Central prison at Colvale in North Goa.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Jivba Dalvi said that the offence has been registered against Jenet (Nigeria) and Prishala (Ghana) for assaulting a matron of Colvale Jail.
He said that the incident happened on Friday at around 10.30 am in the premises of Central Jail, Colvale. Police have registered offence under section 353, 323 against the accused.
Both the accused are inmates of the Prison, he said.
