Panaji: Two brothers from Jammu and Kashmir who were on a holiday in Goa were drowned near Arambol beach on Wednesday, the officials said.
A senior fire and emergency services official said that Amandeep Bhau and his brother Abhishekh had gone for a swim at famous sweet water lake at Arambol when they were drowned on Wednesday.
He said that both the victims are from Jammu and Kashmir.
The official said that while body of Amandeep has been recovered from the lake, the efforts are on to trace the second brother.
He said that more details about the victims were not available.
