Tourism for inclusive growth : GTDC & TTAG celebrate World Tourism Day

Panaji :  The world tourism day is celebrated on 27th September every year. This day marks the anniversary of the adoption of the Statues of Organization in 1970 which paved the way for the establishment of the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO).
In Goa, beaches have claimed the limelight of the majority of tourists who visit the state. This year the Goa tourism policy 2020’s objective is to change that perception by promoting eco tourism, cultural and heritage tourism.
 The Department of Tourism and Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) alongwith India Tourism and TTAG celebrates World Tourism Day, today with the theme  “Tourism for inclusive Growth”
It aims at helping people who are associated with the tourism sector. Today the GTDC along with TTAG has planned ten programmes to celebrate the day.
