Panaji: The Town and Country Planning (TCP) Board that met on Wednesday under Minister Vijai Sardesai granted final zone-change approvals to 30 cases under Section 16B of the TCP Act.
Sardesai said that Board had granted provisional approvals for zone change to 97 applicants under Section 16B.
“Today we have granted final approval to 30 cases, which were within the criteria set for zone change under the Act,” Minister said.
Sardesai said that the decision on the 67 cases, is been deferred for next meeting, pending field reports from concerned departments like forest and agriculture.
Sardesai said that in the provision approval stage itself, the Board had rejected six applications, while no decision has been taken till date in case of 13 applications.
