Sisodia arrest: AAP protest near BJP office in Panaji
Panaji: Aam Admi Party on Monday protested outside the BJP headquarters in Panaji condemning the arrest of Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in connection with the Excise scam.
The AAP leaders including MLAs Venzy Viegas, Cruz Silva, party leaders Valmiki Naik and others protested outside the BJP head office in Panaji.
Talking to reporters after the protest, Naik said that the arrest of Sisodia was “murder of democracy”. He said that the situation in India is like that of 1977 Emergency situation during which those who are against the government were jailed.
Naik said that the protest was a part of nationwide call given by the AAP.
