Panaji: Terming Shiv Sena as “third class party”, Goa’s Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Monday said that there is no question of political instability in the coastal state.
Rane also urged Sena leader Sanjay Raut should know there is likelihood of “political earthquake” in Maharashtra within next six months.
“Shiv Sena is talking about forming a front in Goa. These mad people will not be given any position in Goa. Whoever is not in the government can talk about the front,” the minister said.
He was referring to the Raut’s announcement that after Maharashtra, political earthquake can be expected in Goa.
Rane said that all the 27 BJP MLAs are united under the leadership of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
“No one wants to commit political suicide by joining the third class party like Shiv Sena. Goa wont entertain the party which pulls out swords. Those who wants to get Shiv Sena in Goa will get finished,” the minister said.
Rane said that Raut should not dream of destablising Sawant-led government as it is united and working for the development of the State.
He admitted that the state faces issues like ban on the mining industry, which has created some hassles, but the state government will overcome the hurdle soon.
“People should not take shiv sena seriously. Whoever wants to form a front they can form because they are in the opposition,” he added.
He also castigated Congress party over its anti-government campaign keeping in focus Mahadayi River diversion issue.
“Those who do not know the Mahadayi issue. Those who never seen river Mahadayi are talking over the issue,” he said.
He affirmed that government will bring solution to the current issue over diversion of Mahadayi riverwater by Karnataka.
