Panaji: Congress Leader Altinho Gomes today said that two days before the death of Ex GPCC President Shantaram Naik, Naik had informed him about supporting the Archbishop against the BJP Workers.
Naik had said to me that we need to suport the Archbishop against the BJP workers, who would be calling upon Archbishop and pressurising him against his recent Pastoral letter where in Archbishop has stated that the Constitution was in danger.
Gomes was speaking during the Condolence meet which was held at the State Congress Party office in memory of Congress Leader Late Shantaram Naik in Panjim and attended by State Congress Leaders.
