Dharbandoda: The proposed projects at Mollem by the Centre were met with heavy opposition as it would cause environmental destruction. However, on the proposed power transmission project at Mollem the locals seem to be divided on the issue.
Sangod villagers on Wednesday came out in support of the 400KV project at a meeting claiming that it will create employment for the locals, especially the youth. Of the seven wards in Mollem Panchayat, Sangod has three wards. 70 villagers from this wards held a meeting at Suktholem with PWD Minister and local MLA, Deepak Pauskar.
