I,Sana Shaikh owner at Taraash Hair and Beauty Salon Taleigao Panjim wish to participate in the Achievers’ Award 2018. In regards to this below is my journey in brief.
After having passed out my masters in commerce specializing in business management I got a job at the government polytechnic panaji as a lecturer in the modern office practice department. But there was this one thing which was bothering me that there were so many batch mates of mine still unemployed. This thought started haunting me. I felt the need to contribute to the society in terms of providing employment opportunities. It was then I decided to quit my job and start up a unisex salon of which I had no idea about. Hence I went to Mumbai to master all the skills. After getting certified I came back to Goa and started free lancing for almost a year to create a client base. Then I put up my salon named Taraash
On 10th of September 2017.
I have male and female employees working with me. In just one year of setting up the salon I have received India Business Award for the most creative Makeover Artist in goa 2018.
Also TARAASH has received an international Award from the world Cob organization.
My vision is to grow my brand into many branches nationally and internationally and provide more and more employment opportunities to people. TARAASH aims at providing professional services in the most hygienic environment.
