Panaji: MGP MLA Sudin Dhavalikar has urged Speaker Rajesh Patnekar to restrain Deputy Chief Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar and Public Works Department Minister Deepak Pawaskar from participating and voting in the upcoming assembly sessions and thereafter pending disqualification petition against them.
“Restrain the respondents by an ad-interim order from participating and or voting in the ensuing assembly session and further in other sessions, and sessions to come pending hearing and disposal of the present disqualification petition, which is filed by me on May 3,” Dhavalikar said in his fresh application filed before Speaker.
The Monsoon session of the State Legislative Assembly is summoned from July 15.
The hearing in the disqualification petition is scheduled on July 1.
