Margao: Goa Forward Party has slammed Hospicio Hospital management after its staff, during Wednesday wee hours, arrogantly asked the relatives of COVID-19 positive patient to take the body and dispose it wherever they want.
GFP Vice President Durgadas Kamat has said that the disgusting behaviour of the hospital administration indicates “pathetic state of administration.”
Kamat tweeted “#CovidPatient’s who expired in the night and whose #CovidTestReport has come positive. His young son is asked to take the body and leave from #HospicioHospital at 3.30 am. “We will pack and give the body in bag, you take it home or wherever you want or you shift it to #TBHospital” This is the reply young son gets from on duty personnels at #HospicioHospital.”
“If this behaviour continues with the #CovidPatients and their kins, we will be forced to take things in our hands and then don’t blame us.”
