Shiroda: Huge rally held in support of MGP President Dipak Dhavalikar, who is also brother of Transport Minister Sudin Dhavalikar, violated the helmet rule.
Almost all the riders were seen on the bike without wearing helmet even as the traffic police and other law enforcement authorities remained silent spectators.
The rally was held from Borim to Shiroda in support of Junior Dhavalikar who is contesting on MGP ticket.
The rally also created huge traffic jam on Ponda-Shiroda highway at Borim as several hundred bike riders with MGP flag and T shirt lining up to fuel their vehicles in the afternoon.
