Panaji: Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee President Pratima Coutinho ended her 20 year long career in Congress party.
Sources closed to the woman leader confirmed that Coutinho has resigned from Congress party while keeping option open to join AAP.
Coutinho had recently lost Zilla Panchayat by-election on Congress ticket after which she had blamed local MLA Luizinho Faleiro for her debacle.
Sources stated that a senior AAP leader has accompanied Coutinho to Delhi where she is expected to meet AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal.
