Dharbandora: A badly wounded wild boar with his face smashed due to blast of a local explosive trying to drink water has projected a sad picture of the state’s affairs in the wildlife.
Environmentalist Ramesh Zharmekar in his post on Facebook has written: Very sad and unfortunate….. A country bomb laid by poachers to hunt wild animals left a wild boar seriously injured in the western ghats of Goa. When an animal tries to eat something which is already tied to these bombs, the bomb explodes inside its mouth. This either kills animal or leaves it severely injured.
