Panaji: It is 2020 and Santa Claus has a different gift besides chocolates, its masks.
Pernem Police staff on Wednesday dressed up as Santa Claus on the eve of Christmas to distribute to masks to people who were not wearing one. This was done as a part of a Covid-19 awareness drive.

The Police station staff conducted an awareness drive among the local public regarding Do’s and Dont’s of Covid-19.

As per PI Jivba Dalvi with the aim of creating awareness among the general public regarding COVID-19 Police staff dressed up as Santa Claus gifted chocolates and informative pamphlets and Mask to public who were not wearing masks.

PI Dalvi informed that the sole aim of the drive was to create awareness among general public regarding COVID-19 virus.
