PC Chidambaram to visit Goa on August 25,26

Panaji: Former union minister and Senior AICC Election Observor for Goa P. Chidambaram will be on his first visit to Goa on August 25 and 26 August after his appointment by the Congress President Sonia Gandhi on the post, a senior party official said.
Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Vice President (Organisation) M K Sheikh said that Chidambaram will be in Goa on August 25 and 26 during which he will meet and discuss strategy for upcoming Goa Assembly elections with various leaders and party functionaries.
“Chidambaram will interact PCC office bearers, frontals, District and Block Presidents and will take inputs to work out Strategies for upcoming assembly elections,” Sheikh said.
The senior leader is appointed by AICC to oversee election strategies and Co-ordination for Goa assembly elections.
Sheikh said that Chidambaram will be at Congress House, Panaji on August 25 and on next day will visit South Goa District Office where he will meet the leaders.
AICC incharge of Goa Dinesh Rao will also be touring various blocks of Goa on August 23 and 24 and will be interacting with frontals and various departments of the party. He will be meeting various party leaders during his four days program, said Sheikh.
Sheikh also informed that newly appointed membership facilitator Rajesh Griglani has arrived in Goa to take charge of Digital Membership.
