Panaji: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Thursday expressed grief over the demise of former Goa Legislative assembly deputy speaker Vishnu Surya Wagh.
Wagh, 53, a former BJP MLA and Deputy Speaker passed away at South Africa where he was on a tour with his wife. He was ailing since August 2016 after he suffered heart stroke.
“Deeply saddened to hear abut the passing away of Shri Vishu Wagh, my former colleague in the Goa Assembly and Ex Deputy Speaker. Vishnu Wagh was a highly gifted personality who excelled in different fields. May God give his family the courage and strength to bear this great loss. My heartfelt condolences to the family,” Parrikar tweeted on Thursday morning.
