Panaji: North Goa district Collector has issued stop work order to Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Ltd (IPACDL) for various digging works undertaken by it within the jurisdiction of the City Corporation with immediate effect.
In a notice issued to IPACDL, North Collector Levinson Martins has said that the digging work undertaken under Smart City is without any prior permission and also no boards are displayed providing information of the work.
Collector has directed to stop digging or excavation of public roads within the City Corporation jurisdiction.
IPACDL is directed to seek permission from the North Collector for undertaking digging works. Collector has also asked the company to produce the documents if it has obtained permission earlier.
