Panaji: The Congress party on Monday appointed its senior leader P Chidambaram as senior All India Congress Committee (AICC) Election Observer for upcoming Goa election.
AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal on Monday issued the order appointing Chidambaran to hold responsibility in the coastal state, where the party is in the opposition.
Venugopal has ordered that Chidambaram will “oversee election strategies and coordination for upcoming Assembly election in the state.”
