One year experience to be made mandatory for govt jobs in Goa

Panaji: Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant government on Tuesday announced that one year experience would be ‘compulsory’ for the recruitment in the government sector in future.

Addressing Job Fair at Taleigao village in North Goa, Sawant said that the one year experience would be mandatory for the recruitment in the government sector in future.

He said that the fresh candidates would not be taken in the service. Sawant said that the candidates should first take experience working in the private sector before applying for the government jobs.

He said that such a practice would help the government get skilled manpower.

He also said that the necessary amendments would be made in the Recruitment Rules (RRs) to ensure that the right candidates are selected for the post.

Sawant also said that the recruitment through Staff Selection Commission would be made compulsory in the future.
