Fatorda: Fatorda Police on Saturday arrested one Bablu Fernandes for setting three autorickshaws on fire.
Police said that at about 2.30 am received call at the Fatorda police statio informing that 3 passenger rickshaws has caught fire at Mungul area. Accordingly after getting the info police staff leaded by psi Paresh Ramnathkar and HC Hiralal Gawde visited spot and revealed that 3 pessager ricshaws are ablazed at a distance of 100 mtrs from one another. Further with the assistance of Fire brigade the fire was extinguished.
Further in this connection fire accident was ragistered and panchnama conducted . Further Fatorda police swung into action and started the enquiry as the undersigned felt some suspicion over the incident.
During the enquiry one Bablu Fernandes aged about 55 yrs was taken into custody by taking into consideration previous history as previously he was involved in two cases of setting fire to vehicles. After a thorough interrogation he admitted the crime.
Accordingly above crime was Ragistered. And arrested accused in the crime. Further investigation is in progress.
