Vasco: Vasco police station team led by PI Nilesh Rane arrested accused Devidas Palekar, 49-years-old, resident of pontemol Curchorem for a theft case reported at Vasco police station.
The accused committed theft of a bag which was kept at the bag counter outside Vishal Mega Mart Dabolim Vasco Goa. The stolen bag contained one iPhone worth Rs 52000, one smart watch worth Rs 2800 and cash around Rs 2500.
The accused was immediately tracked within four hours of reporting of the crime and the entire stolen property was recovered from his possession. HC Santosh Bhatkar is the investigating officer.
