Bicholim: Bicholim police have arrested one accused person for committing theft in temple.
As per SDPO Pernem Jivba Dalvi, presently holding charge of SDPO Bicholim, on 09th of March complainant Mr. Radhakrishna Ghodge, the President of Shri Dev Ravalnath Mahalaxmi Devastan Mulgao lodged his complaint against unknown person for break opening and committing theft of metal donation box(funds peti) from Shirodkar Kulswami temple, Mulgao Bicholim.
During investigation several teams were formed and case was detected with in two hours and accused Mr. Guresab s/o Babusab Kalimani,age-35yrs r/o Mulgao Bicholim Goa n/o Saudatta Belgaum Karnataka was arrested under sections 454, 457, 380 IPC. The stolen property i.e cash along with donation box(funds peti) has been recovered. The entire investigation was carried by team comprising of PI Dinesh Gadekar, PSI Vikesh Hadfadkar, PC Vishal Parab, PC Pranjal Velingkar & PC Mayur Asulkar under the supervision of SDPO Pernem Shri Jivba Dalvi holding charge of SDPO Bicholim and overall supervision of SP North IPS Shri Akshat Kaushal.
