NSUI demands stopping of in-person classes, writes to DoE

Panaji : The National Students’ Union of India, Goa (NSUI) submitted a memorandum to the Director of Education demanding to call off the physical classes in schools as Corona Positive cases have been found in the schools. “We are concerned about the entire community to keep everyone safe and healthy though this pandemic,” said NSUI.
Speaking to the media President of NSUI Ahraz Mulla reckoned, “Since the two covid positive cases are found in schools, the students community is panicking. There needs to be a complete investigation into this matter.” President of North Goa, NSUI Naushad Chowdhari alleged that since CM Pramod Sawant wanted to conduct ZP election in the state he has taken this decision of opening schools so that he can show condition in Goa is normal. The NSUI has demanded that the classes be called off and instead online classes be resumed
