Panaji: National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) will be carrying out extensive oceanographic measurements in open sea from October to December.
The exercise along the Sinquerim to Baga coast will be conducted during October-November, while from Velsao to Mobor it would be during November-December. The total exercise is of 70 days.
The department of Captain of Ports has asked barge owners, passenger cruises, ferry boats and fishing trawlers are asked to be auctioned while plying along these areas.
