Panaji :Tech Travel Startup Lucid Trails Entertainment Pvt Ltd was officially launched at the hands of Founder of Lucid Trails Suraj Palekar, Shekhar Diwadkar – General Secretary, Skal International (Goa & Asia) and IT Professional Sidharth Ashok. The startup aims to provide multiple services under one roof, either free or at the lowest market rates. The company aspires to set its global footprints by 2021.
Suraj Palekar gave the visual tour of the website and explained how the startup aspires to revolutionize the way to business is conducted in the tourism industry. Going forward, it will aggressively work to support travel industry stakeholders and to give a 360 degree solution to travellers.
“Our platform is dedicated to global Travel Industry but we have began with Goa as a primary destination for our business model. In the nearby future we will expand to other regions,” Suraj said.
Post the lockdown when restrictions were easing, Lucid Trails made an independent effort towards the revival of struggling tourism sector. It offered its services of video production at the lowest cost in the market & free marketing to hospitality businesses across the state. Lucid Trails recieved an overwhelming enquiry through the initiative and was a win win proposition for the industry. The video campaign will continue for the next few months with the target of expanding to Pan India.
Tourism Industry is one of the badly affected due to the advent of COVID-19 however Palekar hopes for a gradual recovery. Palekar appealed for active support from the Government and stakeholders in revitalizing the sector by getting investments and newer opportunities.
“Post Pandemic planning for Tourism industry should be done in a long term manner as there is threat of COVID-19 re-emerging. We appreciate the efforts taken by Lucid Trails in promoting responsible Tourism in that regards,” Shekhar Diwadkar said.
Suraj Palekar floated Club Lucid Trails, an initiative which will engage tourists and locals through curated trails in experiencing diverse cultural, historical and entertainment aspects of Goa. Lucid Trails also will be working towards bringing into the limelight culture and heritage of not just Goa but entire country as such.
