Panaji : Indian Navy has issued a notice for Air to Ground firing at cavelossim range between May 3 to May 6, 2021.
In view of the above Indian Navy has informed the residents of Cavelossim and adjoining areas that the Navy fighters will undertake air to ground firing at Cavelossim Range on the above mentioned dates from 0800 – 1800h daily.
They have also informed that there is no danger to civilian population and property and all weapons fired by Navy aircraft will land on target areas which are well within the Cavelossim range.
Fishing boats/ recreation boats will be prohibited in the area 2KM seaward of the Cavelossim Range. The Navy has advised the residents not to be alarmed by the sound of low flying aircraft. Residents are prohibited from proceeding to the beach front adjoining the Cavelossim range as it falls in the Danger zone.
