Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said that the spirit of ‘Nation First’ has always remained paramount for the BJP-led government.
In a series of posts on X to mark 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in power, Sawant wrote, “The spirit of ‘Nation First’ has always remained paramount for us, and that is why we have been able to take several decisions, once considered impossible, with determination and precision.”
“This journey of taking bold decisions in the national interest will move forward with even greater momentum,” he added.
In another post about farmers, Sawant said, “India’s Annadatas are contributing to a stronger and more prosperous agricultural sector.”
“Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, transformative initiatives have empowered farmers across the nation, with more than Rs 4.27 lakh crore disbursed through PM-KISAN since its inception, ensuring direct financial support and strengthening rural livelihoods,” Sawant said.
The Chief Minister added, “From improving productivity to enhancing farmer welfare, the last 12 years have marked a new era of growth, dignity, and prosperity for India’s farming community.”
