Panaji: Goa Governor Dr Mridula Sinha today summoned the Monsoon Session of the State Legislative Assembly from July 19.
The twelve-day long will culminate on August 3.
“In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (1) of Article 174 of the Constitution of India, I, Mridula Sinha, Governor of Goa, hereby summon the Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa, to meet at Assembly Hall on 19th July, 2018 at 11.30 a.m,” the notification issued by Governor reads.
The State cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar also granted its ex post facto approval to summoning of session from July 19.
The monsoon session will witness passing of State budget 2018-19, which was tabled in February.
