Panaji: The South West Monsoon has arrived in Goa on Thursday with the state witnessing rainfall during the entire day.
A senior IMD official said that the monsoon has set in the state on June 11 while Red alert warning has been issued on June 12-13 considering the rainfall forecast.
He said that the orange colour warning has been issued for June 14.
Goa has been receiving widespread rainfall since Wednesday with highest rainfall of seven centimeter recorded at Margao in South Goa, he said.
The IMD has asked the fishermen to stay away from venturing in the sea.
