Michael Lobo softens his pro-taxi stand, claims he was sick

Porvorim: Ports Minister Micheal Lobo has softened his pro-tourist taxi stand claiming that the statements made by chief minister Pramod Sawant were reflection of the feelings by all the ruling MLAs.

Lobo, who was absent during the discussion on crucial issue demanding scrapping of Goa Miles, said that he was sick and hence could not come to the Assembly to attend the discussion.

On asked about his stand, Lobo said that the CM’s stand reflects the feelings of all the ruling MLAs.

 He said that the tourist taxi operators should have transparency either by installing digital meter or some other means.

Responding to a question, Lobo said that he was never a leader of Tourist taxi but was supporting them in their demands.
