Sankhalim: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant recalled that it was MGP which had severed its ties with BJP by fielding candidate against the official nomination during Shiroda byelection.
Sawant said that BJP never broke its ties with MGP. “I would like to tell Sudin Dhavalikar that it was MGP which had severed the ties by fielding candidate against the official nomination,” he said.
MGP President Deepak Dhavalikar had contested against Subhash Shirodkar during the byelection in the year 2019.
Sawant said that BJP is ready for alliance with the right thinking parties.
