As per SDPO mapuca in swift action Mapuca police arrested Ajju @ Azarudhin Havangi Shaikh for his involvement
in assaulting vendor at Municipal Market , Mapusa which had occurred today .
Today at 15.30 hrs a complaint was ,lodged at police station that at Municipal Market Mapusa accused Mr. Ajju @ Azarudhin Havangi Shaikh over Personal grudge abused , assaulted complainant shri Panchuram Nisad of colvale who put stall at Mapuca market with metal Bengal causing bleeding injuries to him and threatened complainant with dire consequences to kill In this respect Mapusa Police Station immediately registered FIR U/Sec 504 , 324 , 506 (ii) IPC and investigation was taken up .
After commission of crime accused fled from the scene accordingly team was formed Who collected the intelligence in respect of accused involved and successfully Detained accused at Morod , Mapusa , Bardez, Goa.
Further accused Ajju @ Azarudhin Havangi Shaikh ,aged 29 years R/o Ektanagar , Mapusa ,
Bardez, Goa was arrested in crime . Police are interrogating accused and are in process of recovering weapon of assault.
Team under supervision of Pi Mapuca Sitakant Nayak consisting of PSI Sunil Patil , PSI Viraj Korgaonkar , HC Sushant Chopdekar , Mahesh Shetgaonkar , PC Akshay Patil , Sainath Panjikar, Anand Rathod all of Mapusa Police Station did arrest operation successfully.
Investigation is in progress under Supervision DySP Jivba Dalvi , SP North Nidhin Valsan IPS.
