Panaji: Deputy Chief minister and Pernem MLA Babu Ajgaonkar is getting notoriety for being inefficient in his own constituency.
For the first time in the history of any Goa MLA, the people have started singing Bhajans targeting Ajgaonkar in his own constituency.
The issue is about Bus stand at Pernem. This bus stand is inaugurated twice but is without basic amenities. Despite several attempts, the locals have failed to get attention of Babu Ajgaonkar.
Pernem citizens who are known for their love for music has resorted to singinging Bhajans narratting inefficiency of Ajgaonkar, sitting at the bus stand.
The locals including Umesh Talavanekar, Subhash Kerkar, Rajan Parsekar, Joseph Dias, Diwakar Jadhav, Uttam Kashalkar, Satish Palyekar, Sunil Chinchkar, Prashant Aroskar, Uday Chari, Sahadev Teli and others have participated.
The bus stand was constructed at the cost of Rs 27 crore but has been left without amenities.
