Man arrested by Agassaim police for firing at two brothers

Panaji: Goa police on Friday arrested a 71-year-old man for firing at two brothers over a petty fight at Azossim-Madur.
A senior police official said that team led by Agassaim police inspector Vikram Naik arrested the accused Peter Vaz, after he fired two bullets with his pistol on Shyam Vengurlekar and his brother Sushant on Friday.
Both the accused were unhurt, police said.
As per the complaint filed with the police, the accused threatened both the brothers when they were cleaning their own property without any provocation. The complaint mentions that the accused after threatening them fired at both of them, which did not hit them.
Police said that the accused later fled from the scene but was arrested at Panaji city.
Police team comprising PSI Ramesh Harijan, PC Aditya Mardolkar, PC Raju
Attar, PC Rohit Yadav, PC Raghoba Parsekar, PC Puresh Hadconkar and others were part of the mission.
