Panaji: Health minister Vishwajit Rane on Saturday said that all the Indian states should take up the issue with Union health ministry after Kuwait issued a fresh circular prohibiting entry of Indians in their country.

On March 06, 2020, State of Kuwait issued circular which stated that all incoming flights to and from Kuwait International airport are temporarily suspended for countries including Bangladesh, Philippines, India, Sri Lanka, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt from March 06, 2020 until one week.

The circular is apparently in regards to the spread of Coronavirus in the world.

Rane said that the circular will impact several Indians who are on their way back to Kuwait to join their duties.

“All the states should write to the union health ministry, who on the other hand will take up the matter with Union External Ministry,” he said.
