Panaji: AAP in Goa on Thursday said that Jamia firing incident on Gandhi’s death anniversary showed the desperation in the BJP camp to stop Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party’s march to victory in Delhi election.

AAP Goa General Secretary Pradeep Padgaonkar, in a press note released here, Jamia firing on Gandhi’s death anniversary shows the desperation in the BJP camp to stop Kejriwal and AAP’s march to victory in Delhi election.

Padgaonkar said that equally bizarre was the manner in which the Police  acted as bystanders and were complicit in the violent attack against an innocent.

Reminding that such an incident has happened even as the nation remembered the Mahatma who fell to the bullets of fascist forces on this day,” Padgaonkar said that It serves as a reminder that the same forces that killed Gandhi were seeking to destroy everything that he had stood for and called upon all Goans to show BJP the door home.
