Jamaat-e- Islami Hind requests PM Modi to have joint meeting with religious organisations, volunteers to collaborate with health sector

Panaji : Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has requested PM Narendra Modi to convene a joint meeting with various religious organisations, volunteers and NGOs who can collaborate with the health sector to remedy the current situation in India.
“We agree with the call given by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India to NGOs and volunteer groups for helping out the health sector in
carrying out certain non-specialized tasks. We request the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India  and explore the various means and avenues to collaborate with the health sector for alleviating the suffering of our people” said the press note.
“From the onset of the first wave of the pandemic, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, its state and local units, and  its cadres throughout the country are busy providing diversified help to fellow citizens irrespective of caste, creed, and religion. Our cadres are carrying out relief and charitable services such as creating awareness regarding the observance of safety protocols, vaccination and the implementation of recommended health guidelines.” Added  Jamaat-e- Islami Hind
Jamaat-e- Islami Hind also inferred that they are always ready to extend its support and services to complement and supplement the efforts of the government(s) and civil society.
