Panaji: Goa Mahila Congress on Thursday unveiled Postcards which will be sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh cheif minister Yogi Adityanath seeking justce for the Hathras rape victim. Addressing the press conference here was Roshni Kawas among other party workers. This postcard campaign is taking place all over India. “Uttar Pradesh government is so heartless that after the brutal rape they even burned the body of the victim. ‘Beti ka balatkar karo aur use Jalao’ is the new slogan of BJP,” Kawa said lashing at BJP.
This campaign is primarily initiated because the government is blaming the victim instead of supporting them. Hence the postcard reads “BJP stop victim shaming”, Kawas informed.
