Panaji – Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Secretary Pankaj Gupta launched a frontal attack on the BJP government in Goa, alleging rampant corruption at every level while addressing a well-attended meeting of AAP’s constituency coordinators and elected representatives.
Gupta, who is visiting Goa after being appointed Prabhari for the state, accused the BJP government of destroying Goa through corruption in land conversion, jobs, and tourism. He further alleged that Covid relief funds were misused, even as many Goans were struggling for their lives.
Praising AAP MLAs Cruz Silva and Venzy Viegas, Gupta stated that they have worked hard and stayed true to their voters. He expressed confidence that Goa is ready for an honest AAP-led government and urged party leaders to strengthen the organization and connect with every voter over the next two years.
Gupta also introduced newly-appointed Sah-Prabharis for Goa – Deepak Singla, Abhash Chandela, and Ankush Narang.
The event was attended by AAP State President Adv. Amit Palekar, Working Presidents Gerson Gomes and Valmiki Naik, ZP member Joseph Pimenta, Sarpanch Avita Temudo (Dramapur), ex-Sarpanch Selu Fernandes (Varca), and panch members Piety Cardozo (San Jose do Areal), Valerie Fernandes (Sarzora), Joao D’Costa (Carmona), and Santan D’Costa (Dramapur).
