Panaji: Goan filmmaker and actress Prachi Shirodkar has been honoured with the Young Achievers Award 2026 by Rotary International District 3141 for her contribution to the field of culture. She received the award at Youth Conclave 2026, held at the Rotary Centre in Juhu, Mumbai.
Shirodkar, who hails from Socorro village in Porvorim, is among Goa’s most promising young documentary filmmakers. Through her work, she has been showcasing and promoting Goa’s rich cultural heritage on national and international platforms.
The recognition highlights her growing contribution to the creative industry and marks the rising presence of Goan talent on the national stage.
