Panaji: With the cases of #COVID-19 infection rising in neighbouring Maharashtra, Goa government on Monday will draw its strategies to insulate the state from getting impacted with it.
State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane told PTI on Sunday that he would be holding meeting with Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to discuss as to “what could be done considering the rising number of COVID-19 case around us.”
He said that State will decide what measures needs to be taken.
On asked whether, State government will draw new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Rane said that all the decisions would be taken after the meeting with the Chief Minister.
Earlier during the day, addressing the function to mark Goa Medical College Premier League Tournament, Rane said that the thought is being given to draw new SOPs. He did not elaborate further.
“Things are getting tough..as we speak of covid.. just today we are talking of new SOPs of starting testing once again,” he said.
