Panaji: Goa reported 08.66 per cent COVID-19 infection on Wednesday with 259 new infections being reported during the day.
As per health department bulletin, a total of 259 people were tested positive on Wednesday taking the toll to 2,43,387.
six persons died due to infection during the day, after which the death toll has touched 3760. The positivity rate was 08.66 per cent.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 236099 with 655 of them getting discharged on Wednesday.
“With 2990 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 18,42,667,” he added.
