Panaji: Goencho Avaaz raised concerns over the survival of Goa as the state is passing through a very critical and crucial phase. “Today our government is controlled by crony capitalists. Many MLAs are involved in real estate business, casinos, matka business etc. They have accumulated thousands of crores under the garb of Regional plan TDR etc. Government has sold our Mahadei to Karnataka and are now coming up with new Mollem projects, all this to benefit a few industrialists who spent thousands of crores to help their friend win the elections,” said Goencho Avaaz in a press conference.

Goencho Avaaz also bright to the notice the acts of rogue politicians who no matter what political affiliations they have, are continuing to destroy Goa. Under these circumstances the Goencho Avaaz reassured people that, “We too are compelled to raise the bar of resistance, the will to fight back hence we are prepared to go to any extent to achieve our goal of protection of this land of our forefathers.”
