Panaji: Goa police today announced to take up special drive against traffic violators in the State from May 2 to May 18, during which maximum violators would be booked.
In a wireless message circulated to all the traffic cells, Deputy Superintendent of Police (traffic)DGP Angle has said that a special drive for booking maximum violations for use of mobiles, over speeding, drunken driving and tinted glasses be undertaken from May 2 to May 18.
“It may be ensured that tinted films pasted on the glasses of vehicles be removed on the spot in compliance with the guidelines of Supreme Court,” he said
