Panaji: Goa mine owners have said that PM Narendra Modi releasing Rs 400 crore special assistance for capital investment in order to operationalise two mining blocks can help in improvements of infrastructure.
Goa Mineral Ore Exporters’ Association Secretary Glen Kalavampara said that it is encouraging to note that the state of Goa has received or shall receive Rs 400 crore as incentive under special assistance scheme.
He said that this assistance can help in improvements of Infrastructure, dedicated Routes, developing parking bays, Research and Development efforts and perhaps use of mechanised dedicated sweepers etc to reduce carbon emissions etc. in the iron ore rich mining belt.
