Benaulim: Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant on Friday chaired a two-day-long exercise to discuss the state’s vision for future, which was participated by all his cabinet colleagues and the party MLAs in South Goa.
The exercise named as “Chitan Shibir: Goa’s Vision at 2047” began on Friday morning at a starred hotel in South Goa which was attended by all the state cabinet ministers, MLAs from the ruling camp and the government officials.
In a media statement released here, the chief minister said that Chintan Shibir is a conference which has commenced today and shall discuss and deliberate on Goa’s vision for the future with focus on last mile delivery of the services, infrastructure development and human resource development and above all safeguarding interests of Goa and Goans.
This is for the first time since Sawant took over in the year 2022 as the chief minister for the second time that such a conference is organised. Sources stated that the discussions were around the governance and also roadmap for the state.
