Panaji: Veteran musician Siddhanath Buyao has paid musical tribute to the spirit of Goa and the iconic Goa Cashew Festival, which started from today at Campal, Panaji.
The song, which is uploaded on YouTube, is penned by Saiesh Palondikar and features Pradhymna on guitar, Rutvik Buyao as percussionist, and the video is shot by Ved Borkar. Siddhanath has sung the song and also features in the video.

Buyao says this is a spontaneous musical tribute to the spirit of Goa and the iconic Cashew Fest, now in its third year, organised by the Forest Department under Minister Vishwajeet Rane and the Forest Development Corporation, chaired by Divya Rane.

“Inspired by the vibrant atmosphere, the love for urrack and feni, and the insightful sessions in Cashew Fest on cashew farming and processing, this impromptu song was born over a refreshing urrack cocktail—celebrating Goa’s heritage and the vision behind this unique festival,” he said.

Buyao added, “This video captures the essence of Goa’s tradition, rhythm, and agricultural pride—a toast to the hardworking farmers, artists, and the progressive leadership that makes Cashew Fest a cultural and agricultural landmark.”
